NIGHT SAFARI here we come~ i was damn excited when i reached there lah...and i think the entrance was pretty well done...got the "safari" feel~~

We saw a group of them at the fishing cat trial, they had food then so they bo hue us...when we walked past them again like 15 mins later, they finished the food and ALL of them swam towards us and looked at us as though we had food for them...it was...quite a funny scene =)

FLYING squirrel!!! it's reallie DAMN COOL! it flew past me...SO CLOSEEEEE...
and reallie amazing to watch~ we spent a long time there...looking from one squirrel to the other to see which one has more potential to fly~hehehe


have u watched the movie "Madagascar"? that's the little creatures on the island the 4 animals landed on =)

this is wad i called a porcupine! we saw the porcupines at feeding time...2 were eating then 1 more came along and went a long way round to nibble at the food at the edge then suddenly 1 of the original 2 went towards it and when their spikes bang against each other, u can hear the sound...like chopsticks against chopsticks...scary! the poor thing was being bullied and it was forced to nibble on the leaves T_T looks sad but nature of life...the strong always bullies the weak...

The animal show...enjoyable other than the stupid tourists who keep using flash! dumb ppl..and super inconsiderate to the animals...i dun understand why such ppl exist.

We managed to walk this fishing cat trail ...altho we din get to see the fishing cat fish...lol...
but i was rather fascinated by the crocodiles...they are HUGE even though their snout is long and thin... but they are so BIG...and we can see them so closely, it almost scares me...hahahhaa...
we also saw a baby mousedeer...mi gosh, it looks like a chick...lol cos the legs are so thin...they look like chicken legs...hahhahaa...

We left the place at 12...which is abt the time they close...wished we reached there earlier tho...hee...fun fun~

yay~ finally i went to night safari =D it didn't disappoint~
i woke up today and the first thing i tot abt were the animals i saw ytd night =)

I think we were kinda lucky, weather's fine, animals all coming out to roam...

First thing we saw was the cultural show...basically is a tribe, dancing and singing...but quite scary cos they will drag ppl in to dance w them...*runs away* i stood the furthest away ..hee...cos i am scared~

anywayz we went on the tram ride...night safari is reallie...erm...very dark...i reallie think my eyesight in the dark very bad sia..=\ hahah but nonetheless we managed to see almost all the animals...the sheeps/goats, deers, roaring lions, striped hyenas, flamingos, pelicans, tapias,hippos, water buffalos, leopards, fishing cat, crocodiles(scary!), spotted hyenas, ant eater, porcupines(1 that looks like a rat and 1 normal looking one), lots of civets, otters, bats, flying squirrels(damn cool!), badgers, lots of different kinds of birds like red crown cranes, ducks etc, elephants, giraffes, rhinos...

too bad we can't use flash so a lot of the animals we can't take photos =( but at least we got to see them~~~ and the tapir and deers were soooooooooo near our tram!

it was reallie very fun~ cos i am an animal lover myself...i love going to the zoo and watching animal documentaries...=) so seeing all these animals made me a happy ger~ i shall post more when i have the photos~ yay~

actuallie i wanted to post this a long time ago but well...being the lazy lil me...i only finally did it now...

i met with one of my sec sch fren abt 2 weeks ago...it has been reallie reallie long since i have met her and talked to her...i still rem we were very close in sec 2...=) she was one of my best pals...reallie...but when we went to sec 3, we just sorta drifted apart and hang out in diff cliques..i was pleasantly surprised to see her after all these years, i think since jc yr 1? that's like close to 7 years...=)

i was supposed to be meeting her with 3 other ex classmates but for one reason or another, only the 2 of us managed to make it in the end...it kinda was a blessing in disguise i suppose...at first i was kinda worried that it might be a little awkward...since we haven spoken to each other for close to 7 years...but this awkwardness melted almost instantly after i sat down =)i guess if there were 5 of us, i might not have gotten the chance to reallie catch up with her...we reallie talked a lot in that short 1+ hr...

7 yrs...that's A LOT of catching up to do =) i guess i was a little sad when it was time to end our lunch break...i reallie had a great time chatting w her...isn't it amazing how u can not talk to someone for 7 yrs yet still feel so comfortable talking to her?(i hope she felt the same way too..) the biggest surprise i got was that she rem my birthday...i was REALLIE touched when she remembered, of cos i do rem hers as well...but i am just touched that someone actuallie bothered to rem ...that lunch reallie made me a happy girl that day...a very happy one indeed...so much so that when i went back to office, i was grinning unknowingly...it's practically infectious :P(that was until someone came to spoil my day by screaming rubbish at me for sth that i did not do -.-" but that's another story..)

bottomline is i enjoyed that little "reunion" with someone that i reallie treasured as a good fren...:)
